CREATIVITY HAS NO LIMITS

The art residence on the territory of the city of Noyabrsk is a creative, leisure and educational space for self-realization, gaining new knowledge and creating new projects.

The task of the architectural bureau is to create a new point of attraction for residents and guests of the city. The art residence is a place where it becomes possible to go beyond, where creative energy awakens, which helps not only in art, but also in science, business and personal life. This place should become a space that transcends the physical boundaries of walls and ceilings, where everyone can reach their potential and learn to see wider.

As a result of the territory  and the situation in the city analysis, solutions were proposed for urgent tasks:

  1. The need to create a space that will be interesting for guests of all ages;
  2. Provide a set of functions that will facilitate the support of new projects;
  3. Evaluate all possible directions of modern youth creativity;
  4. Create universal modern auditorium for various creative directions.

The basic principles of the design concept of the object are formulated as follows

  • "Saturation": saturation of the Art Residence with a palette of new functions;
  • "Neural connections": we connect functions with each other by the type of neural connections;
  • "From hip-hop to classics": a variety of creative activities

FACADE

The hallmark of the building is a monumental painting that goes beyond the strict framework of the facade.

As a color explosion of creative energy, at the first glance at itself, it prepares visitors to the Art Residence for the rich creative space located inside.

MAIN HALL

The main hall is the first thing that guests of the Art Residence see. Usually the hall becomes a waiting place, so a special lounge-zone with comfortable chairs and poufs is equipped for parents and children.

The interior is dominated by warm mustard shades, plaster used for concrete and natural wood. The elongated reception desk ends with a hypertrophied navigation ball - a target that attracts guests of the Art Residence, around which the hall space swirls.

ADMINISTRATION RECEPTION

On the second floor of the Art Residence there is an administrative block with a reception, offices for management and employees, a dining room and a lounge, as well as meeting rooms and a conference hall. All administrative premises are also made in the general concept of the complex: the play of geometry and color subjugates the space and forms a creative image of the management.

MEETING ROOM AND CONFERENCE ROOM

The correct shape of the room is broken by the chaotic geometric pattern of the floor covering and the non-trivial arrangement of lamps - linear light segments that form a light front above the conference table. This technique is designed to break the bonds of familiar processes, get rid of stereotypes in thinking and lead to new creative ideas. Warm backlit greenery adds coziness to the work environment.

REST AND DINING ROOM

The intimate atmosphere of the dining area is created due to the color unusual for this typology of premises: getting rid of the usual stereotypes is one of the main tasks of the Art Residence. Different chairs at a common table symbolize the unity of the team, consisting of different people united by creativity.

CREATIVE HUB

The largest in area in the Art Residence is the Creative Hub.

Such an environment is organized here so one can not only work  but also receive support for a creative initiative or creative business.

Downstairs are some open coworking workshops where synergy is supposed to stimulate creativity, and on the mezzanine floor there are individual cells for quieter work that requires concentration.

The space is crowned with hands that touch each other - this is our volumetric interpretation of the painting "The Creation of Adam", which symbolizes creativity.

Also at the bottom there is an amphitheater that can be used as a lecture hall - all furniture is mobile and easily transformed.

Thus, the space adjusts to any tasks implemented in the Creative Hub.
