The natural landscape is always unique. Its perception is influenced by various factors: lighting, the composition of the landscaping, the change of seasons, the nature of the landscape.
Cities swallow up forest territories, leaving green islands.
Over the past decades, we have seen the formation of a new worldview of the city dweller, which is based on respect for nature. Nature is the bearer of genetic information accumulated over thousands of years. It is the source of human wisdom. When creating a new park, we listen to nature and, plunging into space, we use the contextual design method.
In the process of analyzing the territory, the nature of the relief was identified, guides were identified, and the relief guides were superimposed on the existing system of the road and path network.
Just as mountain paths are laid along the slopes of the mountains, we form paths in the park, making them smooth and gentle, thus connecting new functional areas of the park.
The park with an area of 16 hectares is located in the central part of the city of Noyabrsk and has a single axis with the main alley of the city.
In the process of the concept developing, we had the following tasks:
The main entrance to the park and the event square is framed by a spatial structure symbolizing the Northern Lights. It is a canopy under which the amphitheater, pavilions, street stage and exhibition spaces are gathered.
Playgrounds on the site of the former observation wheel are made of natural wood and are aimed at different age groups. For older children, the activities of the "riding city" are organized at the height.
There are sports grounds for various purposes, training arenas, running and cycling paths, skating rinks and other sports facilities and devices, as well as large areas of green spaces.
One of the most popular recreation areas is the area of slides (with snow cover in winter and artificial turf for skiing in summer).
The specifics of the park location in the Far North led to the development of various arbors and sheds that protect from wind and bad weather.
In the quiet recreation area, the project proposes the organization of a pond with gazebos and a pier leading to an observation deck in the center of the reservoir, to which comfortable slopes are equipped. In winter, the territory of the pond is used as a city skating rink.
