The project is based on the principle of versatility: all facets of recreation for all groups of the population. With the aim of functional saturation of the park, six main zones were designed on the territory, interconnected not only by historically formed alleys, but also by a developed complex hierarchical road and path network using various types of coatings.
The differentiation is based on the principle of dividing traffic flows by type, mass and speed.
Transit routes are designed to provide the most convenient movement within the park and reach the main infrastructure facilities of the park. The walking paths, planned according to the mathematical model of the Voronoi diagram, create an extensive route network, where every 50-100 m the park visitor is given the opportunity to choose a further path. The directions change, the views that open to the visitor also change. This creates a great variety of routes of movement and reveals the "facets of the park", which looks in a new way every time.
The main entrance is located in the park grove area. The project provides for the restoration of propylaea, reconstruction of the site in front of the entrance, installation of information carriers, lighting design and the entrance landscaping.
On the main alley, surrounded by nature, we have placed "Park Cafe" with the possibility of relaxing on the veranda in the summer and behind panoramic windows in winter.
The project provides for the planting of various plants of the Altai Territory in the landscape park. For educational purposes, plates with information about varieties and flowering seasons are installed near various groups of plants. The project also includes the improvement of the existing pond with the replacement of the gazebo in its center with a cafe and the reconstruction of the bridges leading to it from the banks.
A universal event platform with a large stage, adaptable to any format of events, equipped with the necessary infrastructure for holding festivals, city and local celebrations and open-air concerts. Behind the stage, there is a platform for accommodating technical services for events.
The large park pavilion on the main event square houses catering, toilets and equipment rental, serving visitors all year round. In the warm season, here you can rent bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, and after a walk or sports activities, use the services of showers. In winter, there is a rental of skis, skates, tubing for downhill skiing. You can change comfortably in the changing room, and have a snack in the fast food cafe.
Various play elements in the playgrounds introduce children to the mining history of the region: the miners' sandbox, the Blast Furnace slide, the dam, the adit, the wheat slide, etc.
An interactive river in the summer encourages children to be physically active, makes it possible to control its course, putting and removing barriers to the movement of water.
Within the framework of the sports zone, the territory of the existing climbing wall was modernized and expanded: a new, higher and equipped with fasteners cliff will appear here.
Also on the site there are a workout zone, a skatepark, tables for playing table tennis and a basketball field for team training.
In the cold season the park's territory will also stay attractive to visitors.
In the off-season, the park will delight guests with landscapes: nature waking up in spring and wilting in autumn. The park can organize environmental educational programs for children and adults: feeding birds and small animals, arranging birdhouses and feeders, bird watching, photo sessions or photography schools.
In November, you can organize light shows, light festivals.
During the winter holidays (New Year, Christmas, Maslenitsa), the entire territory of the park is actively used: the main square and its stage are for large events. Here the skating rink is poured, a Christmas tree is set up and festive illumination is created.
On the territory of the pond, large and small slides are arranged, a snow town, another tree and illumination can be installed.
