Kemerovo is a city in Siberia. The harsh climate and a small variety of places for recreation prompted us to create a thermal complex where residents of the city can relax, enjoy the “year-round summer” and improve their health. Such a space should visually be conducive to comfortable relaxation, inspire confidence, and every visit to it should become a "mini-vacation".
Three floors are filled with swimming pools, saunas, massage rooms, relaxation areas - everything that is so necessary for both emotional and physical recovery.
The architectural design of the thermal complex proposes the creation of an “oasis” for year-round summer with a special atmosphere that is conducive to recovery and relaxation.
In the solution of the facades, laconicism, purity of lines and geometry prevail, and in the decoration - natural wood and metal. In order to diversify the monotony of the long and low facade of the industrial building, we divided it vertically and highlighted the entrance groups with high wooden sections. The backlighting of the facade is made unevenly - with this technique we have achieved the illusion of a wave.
Large windows, spanning several floors at once, let in the maximum amount of sunlight, which is so lacking in the cold season.
