Designed for a business audience, the aparthotel is distinguished by the rigor and geometricity of the facades. At the first stages, we worked out several options for the space planning structure: it was necessary to combine residential, business and public functions in one structure.
In the process of integrating the functions of the hotel, it was decided to place the public living room not on the first floor, as we are used to seeing it in most similar objects, but to raise it higher - on the 10th floor of the building. The result was a ceremonial space with stained-glass windows along the perimeter and views of the city, and as a terrace for a public living room, it became possible to use the roof of the second part of the building with a lower number of storeys.
Compositionally, the facade consists of three volumes, all three have different design but they are being compatible with each other: a tectonic base of two types of bricks and a lighter folded upper part of the building located above it, connected by stained glass windows of a public living room.
Entrance groups are made with stained glass to create the most open and friendly atmosphere around. We supplement the strict and laconic geometry of the facade with the author's curved-shape elements, which are also elements of lighting the territory.
A cozy lobby is located in the center of the building on the 10th floor. This multifunctional space combines the reception, restaurant, conference hall, coworking space and sports area. A large amount of warm wood in the interior decoration makes the space friendly and cozy. A semi-barn island with an airy frieze structure is the semantic center of the space, uniting the layout and setting the scenario of movement.
Several types of units have been developed in the project. The interior of the unit is a constructor that allows the tenant to transform the space for different scenarios of use: the space can be a living room, a kitchen-dining room, or a bedroom. For this, folding and mobile furniture, an accordion partition, behind which the kitchen is hidden, are provided. The interior combines classic and modern: light moldings, austere lamps, wood and expressive geometric graffiti, giving the interior a "mood" and originality.
For each type of unit, we thought out our coloristic solution and, in a simple way (by applying paint on the walls according to a stencil), we presented each type of unit with its own face.
